It's not the same to trade… with moving stops
At Amadeux, we only use static drawdown. No dynamic drawdown. No trailing stop based on equity.
The market is hard enough as it is. Your rules shouldn't be.
No codes. No hidden conditions.
The problem isn't your strategy
Many traders don't fail because they misread the market.
They fail because they operate under rules that change while they're still in the game.
Dynamic drawdown. Limits on floating equity. A trailing stop that rises as you make a profit.
Conditions that turn a successful transaction into a failed one.
People don't talk about this enough.
But it changes everything.
Two ways of doing things. Only one is clear.
- Drawdown moves with you
- Calculated based on free float
- If you're in the black, the limit goes up
- You can still lose even on a winning trade
- The limit is fixed from the start
- Calculated based on the balance sheet
- Doesn't change while you're trading
- You know exactly how much you can lose—it doesn’t hurt.
The difference is not insignificant
Same market. Same trades. Different rules.
It's not easier. It's fairer.
No codes. No hidden conditions.
What does "static drawdown" really mean?
You start with a balance sheet.
That's your point of reference.
Your stop-loss is calculated there… and it doesn't change.
It doesn't matter whether you're in profit or at a floating loss.
There are no adjustments. There are no rules that change in the middle of the process.
Trading only.

You don't need any more theory
If you've been watching the market for a while and saying , "I knew it"...
This isn't about learning more.
It's a matter of putting yourself in a position where the odds aren't stacked against you.
Transfer Window
Wednesday through Friday.
After that, the challenge will remain.
But not under these circumstances.
If you decide to get involved, the next time you see a move you were right about, you'll have more than just a saying.
If you decide not to go in, that's fine too. The window will close, and we'll move on.
No codes. No hidden conditions.
